Download TikTok on iPhone Without Watermark
The TikTok app has a Save video button, but it usually burns the logo and username into the clip. It also only works when the creator left downloads on. There is no “save as MP4” in the app. If you want a clean file in Photos or Files, you download TikTok on iPhone without watermark from the browser.
I do it in Safari. About twenty seconds after the first time.
What you need
iPhone, Safari (Chrome is fine), and the link to one video. Nothing to install. No account.
Save a TikTok to your iPhone
- Copy the link. Open the video in TikTok. Tap Share, then Copy link. If you already have it open on tiktok.com, copy the address bar.
- Open the downloader. In Safari go to the TikTok video downloader. Tap the box and paste. On iPhone, Paste often pulls the link from the clipboard by itself.
- Grab the file. Tap Grab. You should see a thumbnail and Download MP4. That is the TikTok to MP4 step, no screen recording.
- Download. Tap Download MP4. Safari asks if you want the file. Tap Download. A small arrow shows up near the address bar.
- Put it where you want. Open that arrow, open the file, tap Share. Save Video goes to Photos. Save to Files keeps it in the Files app.
I use Save to Files so I can AirDrop it later without stuffing the camera roll.
Where the file goes
Safari usually drops it in Files → Downloads. That is how you save a TikTok to the Files app on purpose: pick Save to Files in step 5. If you tapped Save Video, look in Photos instead. Missing file → Files app, Downloads folder first.
About the watermark
You get whatever source TikTok actually stores. Most of the time that file has no bouncing logo. Some clips are only served with the mark already in the picture. Nothing strips that off without wrecking the video. If the logo is still there after download, that is the copy TikTok gave out.
Use this for clips you made or have permission to keep. Not for ripping someone else’s work and posting it as yours.
If it fails
- Error after Grab: you copied a profile or a photo, not a single video. Open the video, then Copy link.
- Not in Photos: it is in Files → Downloads.
- Only sound: you hit MP3. Use Download MP4, or go to TikTok to MP3 if you wanted audio.
- Want export tags gone after saving: run it through the metadata cleaner. Optional.

Next time the page is just sitting in Safari history. Reels and Shorts follow the same idea on the other tools. More guides will sit in the blog as we add them.
